Assistant Treasurer, Debate For Humanity

Debate For Humanity is a premier national organization dedicated to fostering rational discourse and democratic values across Bangladesh by empowering the youth through competitive debate and critical thinking workshops. Serving as the Assistant Treasurer, I manage the organization’s financial integrity by overseeing budget planning, fund allocation, and transparent reporting for nationwide events. My role is central to ensuring the fiscal sustainability of our programs, allowing us to reach diverse student populations and cultivate a new generation of articulate leaders who value dialogue and evidence-based reasoning.

University Debating Society (DUDS), is defined by national-level victories and international representation in both Bangla and English. I achieved a major milestone by winning the National Championship at the RU GOLD Inter-University Debate Competition and established my presence in the English circuit as a Novice Finalist at both IUB Ascension and the Drishty Chittagong Inter-Club English Debate Tournament. Beyond domestic success, I represented the University of Dhaka on the global stage at the Australasian Intervarsity Debating Championships (Australs) and received a prestigious invitation to the Oxford Debating Championship (OxDC), solidifying my reputation as a versatile and elite-level debater.

​As the President of the Communication Disorders Debating Club (CDDC) at the University of Dhaka, I led my department to unprecedented competitive and organizational success. During my tenure, I spearheaded the management of a National Inter-Club Debate Tournament (University Level), successfully coordinating logistics and outreach for teams across the country. My leadership was further defined by high-level competitive achievements, including leading my team to become Champions at the WRC National Debate Fest. We also secured the title of Best Team at the Faculty of Social Science, University of Dhaka. These experiences allowed me to refine my skills in large-scale event management and strategic leadership while cementing CDDC's reputation as a powerhouse in the national debating circuit.

As the President of the Dhaka Shaheen Debating Club, I led one of the most prestigious college-level debating platforms, focusing on building a strong foundation for future orators. My leadership involved organizing internal workshops, managing club logistics, and preparing students for national-level competitions. This role allowed me to cultivate a culture of critical thinking and structured argument among my peers, bridging the gap between high school level discourse and the rigorous standards of the national debating circuit.
